OUR COMMITMENT FOR THE PLANET

In this time of climate emergency, Aventure Écotourisme Québec is stepping up its commitment for the planet with an ambitious sustainability action plan that commits the association and its members to achieving 13 measurable goals by 2025.

Our action plan is based on three main pillars :

  • fighting against climate change;
  • adopting ecoresponsible practices and preserving biodiversity;
  • improving the social responsibility of our sector's businesses.

It proposes a coherent vision for adventure tourism and ecotourism businesses, who are thus committed to the ecosystems and communities with which they interact, while educating their clients to do the same.

These goals come with commitments, metrics, and courses of action that make them achievable and measurable. Our association is committed to achieving them by 2025 by declaring its intentions to its members (over 200 businesses), its partners, and the public.
